Golden Valley Remodel

This entirely remodeled home is an example of what can be accomplished without adding significant square footage. This home was built in 1954 as a 1-1/2 story stucco cape cod structure with a small kitchen & awkward 3 season porch. Initially not intrigued by the home, the owner’s young daughter was the one that insisted they consider it.  With a ¾ of an acre lot and convenient location they decided to purchase in 2004. This is the third project the owners and Meriwether have collaborated on, the first being dormer additions and bath remodel. The second was a front entryway & patio. Finally ready to complete the home, this head to toe remodel included additional screen & sleeping porches, a dog room, powder room, kitchen & dining relocation. New in floor radiant heat, entirely new insulation, residing and triple glazed windows complete this home
