Kenwood Fireplace

The homeowners of the 1909 home had spent many years recreating the craftsman details throughout their home but when it came to the fireplace they wanted to make sure every detail was accurate. Before this fireplace was brick painted white, floor to ceiling, between the existing bookshelves. Now the fireplace looks as if it had been built original to the home.
The tiles were handmade for this project by TRC after Meriwether provided a full color scale template to make sure the tiles could be laid out in the field with no cuts. The wood species, trim & detailing, including the new crown around the chimney breast is an exact match of those in the existing built-ins.
